About the Role
As a Senior CPU Design Engineer, you will join our cutting-edge CPU development team to create next-generation processor cores for high-performance computing and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing advanced CPU microarchitectures, focusing on performance, power efficiency, and area optimization. You will develop innovative pipeline designs, implement sophisticated branch prediction and speculation techniques, and optimize cache hierarchies. Collaboration with verification engineers, physical design teams, and software developers will be essential. You will perform extensive architectural simulations, support performance analysis, and resolve complex design challenges. This role offers an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art CPU designs, pushing the boundaries of processor technology for future computing platforms.
Requirements
M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in CPU microarchitecture and design. Proven track record in designing high-performance and power-efficient CPU cores. Expertise in advanced CMOS processes (5nm and below). Strong background in computer architecture, pipelining techniques, out-of-order execution, and cache coherency protocols. Experience with hardware description languages (e.g., SystemVerilog, VHDL) and proficiency in using EDA tools for RTL design and synthesis. Familiarity with instruction set architectures (e.g., ARM, RISC-V). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex design projects.
