About the Role
The Physical Design (PD) Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing the physical design activities for complex digital ASIC/SoC projects. The role involves leading a team of physical design engineers, defining the physical design methodology, and ensuring that the design meets all performance, power, and area targets. The PD Lead will collaborate closely with other design teams, such as RTL design, verification, and DFT, to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of the final design.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in physical design of digital ASIC/SoC, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in physical design tools, such as Cadence Innovus or Synopsys IC Compiler. In-depth knowledge of advanced physical design concepts, such as hierarchical design, power optimization, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring physical design teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
